Pattern is included in class fee. Please come in to pick up your pattern before class so you can do the prework.

Fabric Requirements:

•       Minimum of 4 fat quarters but 8 fat eighths would be better because variety is GOOD.
•       7/8 yd background fabric
•       ¼ yd sashing
•       You will also need 1/3 yard binding, 5/8 yard backing and 22” x 44” batting, but not necessary for class.

Prework: Precut the following-

• From fat quarters or fat eighths
  • Strips ranging from 1 ¼” to 2” from each piece

• From Background
  • 2- 4 ½” x 9 ½” strips
  • 16- 3 ½” squares
  • 16- 2” x 6 ½” strips
  • 16- 2” x 9 ½” strips
• From Sashing
  • 4- 1 ¼” x 9 ½” strips
  • 4- 1 ¾” x 9 ½” strips
  • 1- 1 ¾” x 44” strip

Normal sewing supplies are needed including (but not limited to):

•       Sewing machine
•       Seam ripper
•       Small scissors or snips
•       Extra thread, needles & bobbins
•       Pins
•       Marking tool like a frixion pen

We have ironing boards and irons but if you’d like to have your own table top one, that would be very helpful for this class. We have cutting mats and rotary cutters, but if you have a preferred one, bring that along!
