| What is Paisley U? |
Paisley U is an opportunity to learn the basics of quilting in a classroom setting. You will receive instruction and practice work in class and homework to build the skills taught. Working at improving your quilting skill is what earns you a “Duck-ploma.” Whether you are a new quilter or want to brush up on techniques, Paisley U is for you!

| When are the classes? |
Paisley U Classes are the first and third Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday of the month starting in Mid-October. There is a built-in break in December. Adjustments to the dates because of conflicting events in quilt shop operation will be noted on the class calendar which is handed out on a trimester (three month) basis. Class times and assignments will be determined before classes start, and you will be notified by email which day (or night) you are assigned. We aim to end the school year in early June, with an official graduation ceremony in August.

| Who is eligible to take classes? |
While this program can be a starting place for new quilters, anyone can enroll to brush up on a particular method or technique. You must complete all classes and your class project, however, to earn your “duck-ploma.”

First Class – $25 – Basics
- Choose 2 yards of fabric (included)
Second Class - Cutting - $25
- Choose 2 yards of background fabric (included)
Third Class – Quilt Block Components - $25
- Select 7 Fat Quarters of Coordinating Fabric (included)

| Will I be graded? |
Putting the technique into the practice is the best way to gain skills from Paisley U. Each class starts with Show & Tell, a fun way to show off the work you're putting in.

| What if I miss a class? |
Students will be assigned a class date. However, we recognize that life happens, so if you know you will be missing a class, you can attend on another class time. There are other sessions that you can attend for every class.
Most of our classes have recorded instructional videos, handouts and details available via student login on our website. Many students use this resource even if they attended class as it very helpful to watch as you complete your homework or other projects.

Registration packets are available to download and return or stop in the shop and fill one out.
